Inertia

I called this piece “Inertia,” the tendency to remain unchanged unless prompted by an external force; at times, indecisiveness is hard to escape unless an external presence takes me one way or another.

San Francisco #1

San Francisco #1

The first in a multitude of visual aromas from the Golden City, pre and post Covid. By Lena Kalotihos. For Lena, San Francisco is a safe space.

Becoming

Becoming

This self-portrait explores the power of thoughts and emotions to dictate our reality. The squares represent my thoughts as they either fade into the ether of my mind or darken and obscure my present reality. Their presence erases me, symbolizing how thoughts can take over our self-image and cause us to lose touch with reality.
